Our Material

Silicon carbide (SiC) is an artificially produced industrial material with a diamond-like hardness. It is mixed under vacuum with epoxy resin as a bonding agent and is cast into highly precise moulds. We call it a chemically-bonded mineral.

Wherever necessary e.g. connection fittings are treated with diamond-based tools on the lathe. Thread connections are directly inserted by means of specially cast components.

Thanks to our patented temperature-controlled casting process, we can cast parts of between 1 kg to 8,000 kg. Our standard material SICcast EP135® can be used for applications with temperatures of up to 135°C.
